We are a marketing & promotions company that specializes in taking urban and hip-hop records from the street to urban and rhythm radio. We are not a record pool. We work 110 major radio stations across the country dealing directly with music and program directors of each station. (List Included)
Our client list includes working with major record companies as well as smaller ones that do not have a promotional staff. Our fee is determined by the amount of work required for the life of the project (NOT by station). The labels we have worked with are included in our list.
Our promotional work includes sending a copy of the record (CD single) to all the stations on our mailing list. The mix single versions will be sent to mix jocks at these stations. The CD singles will be sent to the program and music directors of each of these stations. We will provide feedback in a report informing you of the status of your record at radio.
We also send out a weekly tip sheet of the records we are working to each MD & PD. This is followed up by one phone call along with a personalized fax sent out each week to each radio station. If you are introducing a new artist, we require bios & pictures to generate interest in the trade magazines. We are reviewed by Billboard, Hits, and S.I.N. We specialize in taking urban and hip-hop records from the street to urban and rhythm radio. We have now increased the number of radio stations and mix shows we call, fax and mail to 110. Our fee will be based on the amount of work to be done for the life of the project. Payment is requested up front for the services of all the major stations on our list.
Also include in our package servicing over 75 stations that have mix shows. We mail out 12 inch mix singles and follow up weekly with our mix jocks to stay on top of what they are playing on their shows and in their clubs. We tell you if they are testing or playing your record, what the rotation is, response from the call ins and the clubs, and if your record is ready for radio airplay.
