Eminem appeared via phone on MTV’s finale for “Total Request Live” Sunday. Although Carson Daily tried to push for details on his new album, Eminem stayed pretty quiet. The Detroit rapper did confirm the album was titled “Relapse” saying he had recorded “over 100” songs for it. Stating that he was currently in the studio in Detroit, Eminem said the album would be coming out “sometime in the 1st quarter of next year.” Previous reports had Eminem’s new album hitting stores in December. 

In related news, Eminem recently released a new book called “The Way I Am”. The new book includes a collection of personal stories, reflections, photographs, original artwork, and never before published lyric sheets. In the first printing of the book, a bonus DVD is included containing personally shot video footage from Eminem and unreleased interviews.
