Chris Brown will be dropping his first official post-Rihanna incident single on Wednesday (September 30) Ft. Lil Wayne, putting an end to the negativity that has surrounded his career for the past year.
Brown told fans that he would be dropping Transformer via Twitter over the weekend.
"Releasing my single on weds. in going to u stream it... get ready weds.if anything changes ill let u know," Brown wrote.
Transformer is said to be the first track from Brown's highly anticipated comeback album Graffiti.
Earlier this month, Swizz Beatz, Transformer's producer, gave MTV some insight into what to expect from the effort .
"He's got something to prove," Swizz said. "He
worked on 60, 70 songs. He's just on fire. I told him, 'Listen, man,
just stay focused on your music. They gonna throw shots at you. Time
heals everything.'"
In other Chris Brown news, the singer is scheduled
to perform at Power 105.1's Powerhouse conert on October 27. He will be
gracing the stage with such big named acts like Lil Wayne, Fabolous, The Dream, Trey Songz, Keri Hilson, Mario, Ginuwine, and Day26.
