Sep 11, 2009 Rising star, Kid Cudi is set to hit the stage this Saturday (September 12) in Manhattan’s Terminal 5. Indie-pop group Phoenix will join the XXL alumnus tomorrow night. Tickets for the concert are currently on sale for $40 and $50 the day of the show. According to BlackBook magazine, the MTV Video Music Awards and LIFEbeat, a non-profit organization that merges music with AIDS awareness and prevention, are sponsoring the show. Cudi is currently prepping the release of his major label debut, Man on the Moon: The End of Day for release this Tuesday (September 15). The disc, which features cameos from Kanye West, Common, MGMT and Ratatat, recently leaked online.
