Omarion has been officially dropped from Lil' Wayne's Young Money Entertainment, prompting cans to check the Guinness Book of World Records to see if the singer makes the cut for the shortest record deal ever.

The label's president Mack Maine broke the news about Omarion's departure, saying the singer would be leaving after only two months of being linked to the rising entity.

Maine's first statement, via his Twitter, cited a song leak as the reason behind their separation.

"ATTN: Omarion is no longer Young Money... the song they leaked ft. Wayne is not official... good luck 2 him in his future," Mack wrote.

A short while later, a statement was issued reiterating his statement.

"Omarion is no longer with Young Money," the statement read. "May God be with him and his future endeavors."

The singer was singer to Young Money back in June. He was set to release his next studio album A New Me on the label.
