Rapper C-Murder set to Release New Album and Appeal Conviction!

Corey "C-Murder" Miller isn't quite ready to give up the fight for his freedom just yet, as the former No Limit Records rapper is set to appeal his August murder conviction.

Miller is armed with the assistance of what seems to be an army of supporters in his pursuit of unshackled life beyond the confines of a prison cell.

According to TRU Records artist Tomeka, Miller's conviction was facilitated by a "racist" Louisiana government, as opposed to the facts in the case.

"It is time that the public is educated on how this case was handled, and how an innocent man has been put behind bars because he is an African-American rapper whose case is unfortunately being tried in Jefferson Parish," Tomeka said passionately. "The racists have gone so far as to put up a billboard stating 'Corey Miller is guilty.'"

Yo! Raps previously told you about the NAACP's involvement, a report recently corroborated by Director of Online Marketing for RBC Records, Brett Morrow.

"We have contacted the NAACP and are currently organizing the community for several protests of his arrest," Morrow said. "We hope to have Corey home soon and once and for all vindicated in the court of law."

In addition to the fight for his independence, Miller is also planning to release a new album, Calliope Click, on September 29.

Scheduled to drop via RBC Records, the album features the single It's So Hard.
