The Game’s third solo album, L.A.X., debuts at the top spot of the Billboard Charts this week.
The album, which features appearances from Lil Wayne, Nas and Ne-Yo, scans 239,000 copies in its opening week.
Lil Wayne stays put at No.5. Tha Carter III reeled in 54,000 units this week. After 13 weeks on the chart, the album has sold 2,816,000 copies.
Rihanna’s Good Girl Gone Bad Comes in at number 11 with 37,389 units sold!
Ice Cube slips two spots to No. 13. Raw Footage sold 30,300 discs in its second go-around. So far, the album has sold a total of 100,090 copies.
Posted at No. 25 is Malibu rap duo Shwayze. Their self titled project shells off 18,300 discs in its 2nd week on the charts. To date, the album has sold 65,040 copies.
Daddy Yankee slips a spot to No. 35. Talento De Barrio bags up 12,200 units this week. After three weeks, the album has sold a total of 54,600 copies.
Chilling at No. 36 is Nas. 12,270 folks picked up Untitled this week, pushing the album’s total sales to 362,500.
Refusing to budge from the No. 41 spot is Florida rapper Plies. Definition Of Real hustled 10,600 CDs this week.&nb sp; The album’s tally stands at 480,200.
Seated at No. 44 is David Banner. The Greatest Story Ever Told moves 9,140 units this week. After twelve weeks, the disc’s tally stands at 132,900.
Wrapping up the Top 50 is Three 6 Mafia. Last 2 Walk rang out 8,200 copies this week, bringing the album’s total sales to 224,300.
A notable debut under the Top 50 this week is V.I.C with his debut album titled Beast. The set, which features appearances from Soulja Boy and Bun B, debuts at No. 73 selling 7,080 copies.
