Timbaland and his girlfriend, music exec Monique Idlett, have tied the knot, Usmagazine.com has confirmed exclusively. The two wed - in their sweats! - in Virginia on Tuesday by a family pastor. They are getting hitched again in a formal ceremony in Aruba on June 22. The couple, who are based in Miami, welcomed a baby girl, Reign, last year. (He also has a son from a previous relationship.) Timbaland popped the question at Idlett's baby shower. In a statement from Monique Idlett, Timbaland's new bride (and publicist): "Timbaland is ecstatic about his marriage to the lovely, beautiful, and gracious Monique Idlett. She is the love of his life and the two will most certainly live happily ever after." | | No comments for this item |

Lil Flip's long time manager and attorney Sandy Lal has come forward to shoot down reports that his client was involved in a near fatal car accident in Southwest Texas. Lal's denial contradicts a number published reports, which stated that the Houston, Texas rapper's car was totaled in a serious accident on Tuesday (June 3). The bogus news reports stated that Lil Flip was sent to the hospital, where he was treated for neck, back and wrist injuries, which Lal said was totally untrue. "Lil Flip was not involved in any accident," Sandy Lal told Industryfinest.com. "He's very healthy [and] just returned from overseas touring. He [Lil Flip] will begin working on his next album very shortly." Lal also denied reports that Lil Flip was harboring a grudge against fellow Texan, Bun B. or New Orleans rapper Lil Wayne. He stated that Lil Flip was focused on recording the untitled follow up to 2007’s I Need Mine. Dont forget to Watch more New Hip-Hop Music Videos!!! | | No comments for this item |

Pharrell Williams puts music ahead of money by going back on tour with N.E.R.D. |

Pharrell Williams is so in-demand as a producer that every time he tours with N.E.R.D., his most consistently weird project, he probably costs himself money. But in the days before the release of his latest gun-for-hire superstar collaboration, Madonna's Hard Candy, he was on the road again, for reasons that make perfect sense to him. "I can't even explain how surreal it feels — and it's such a pleasure, man — to see this army of kids who know you and love what it is you represent," he says. "And they understand what you go through; they understand that you're not perfect. You make music for them because they're not perfect, but we agree on just having a good time and getting lost in music. There's no better feeling than that." Past N.E.R.D. outings weren't always rigorous affairs. During a 2003 jaunt, for example, N.E.R.D. member Chad Hugo, Williams' partner in the mega-successful production team known as the Neptunes, didn't even appear on most of the dates alongside Pharrell and rapper/fellow N.E.R.D. Shay Haley, declaring himself too busy to do so. This time around, though, all three are dedicated to acting as a real band — even completing a small-venue circuit months before the scheduled June 10 release of their next recording, Seeing Sounds. Still, N.E.R.D. won't be confused with a typical combo. When the trio played at Austin's South by Southwest festival in March, rumors ran rampant that Britney Spears would make a surprise appearance. "Someone told us she was there — that she was at the venue," says Williams, who's known Brit since the Neptunes produced tunes such as the 2001 smash "I'm a Slave 4 U." And on the forthcoming video version of "Everybody Nose," Sounds' entertainingly oddball first single, guests include Kanye West and another tabloid favorite, Lindsay Lohan. When asked if he plans to assist on a new Lohan album that's reportedly in its germinal phase, Williams is cautious about over-committing. "I don't know what the future holds," he says. "You know me — I'm always trying to go against the grain." In the meantime, Williams is broadening his business portfolio. His current enterprises include Star Trak, his own label (he touts upcoming releases by performers such as Chester French, Teyana Taylor, and FAM-LAY); a new jewelry line he oversaw under the auspices of Louis Vuitton ("It was like being paid to learn from the biggest and most prestigious fashion house in the industry," he enthuses); and even a venture into home furnishings (he notes that he "designed some chairs, which will be debuting in October in Paris"). But all that will have to wait until he's off N.E.R.D. duty. "There's no better rush than being on stage," he says. His accountant won't be happy to hear that. Rapper Numskull is living up to every bit of his name. Garrick Demond Husbands who is known as Numskull, and is one half of the of the rap group the Luniz, has been charged with twelve felony counts.
According to Alameda County Superior Court documents, Garrick was charged with twelve counts of felony assault, that include shocking charges of sodomy, corporal injury and possession of a firearm. Currently details on how this situation unfolded are slim, and so far no one in Numskull's camp is talking.
What we do know, is that things definitely don't look like they are going to get any better for the one time multi-platinum artist, whose group became famous with the hit, "I Got 5 on It." He may still have a chance to have five on it ... in prison! Dont forget to Watch more New Hip-Hop Music Videos!!! | | No comments for this item |

It was over a year and three months since Los Angeles' Tha Crow entered Loud.com's competition for a $100,000 cash prize and a SRC Records contract. With the winning announcement coming earlier this week, the rapper told Industryfinest.com today, "It feels out of this world. You know when you're going hard, you're workin' your ass off, and it's the end of the fourth quarter of any [sport]? It's the last shot of the game, and it's all net," revealed Tha Crow, who has been perfecting his craft for over four years. According to the rapper, the label teased him before welcoming to a roster that boasts Akon, David Banner and The Lo (formerly Camp Lo). "They played a little joke on me that the role had filled up. Then, after that, they gave me the check and told me, 'Congratulations, welcome to the family. Any questions you need to ask us. Anything financially, just don't hesitate to ask us, 'cause we're here for you.' It felt like I was welcomed into a family." That aforementioned check, reportedly to the tune of $100,000, allows Tha Crow to have some hard-earned fun. The rapper, an avid fan of tattoos, says that he will be scheduling an appointment with famed west coast tattoo artist Mr. Kartoon to get sleeves done on his arms. Up next for the career of Tha Crow comes two mixtapes. "Last year I dropped Straight Off The Block. This year I'm dropping Byrd Food, so I've been getting a lot of work from everybody that's out there." The rapper was unable to confirm producers and guests at this time, but promised high-profile personnel. The rapper will then follow the mixtape with another, Tha Crown, chronicling his participation in the Loud.com contest, and the music he made in it. The tapes will release in the next six weeks. Tha Crow is also working on a yet-to-be-titled album, his first with SRC. | | No comments for this item |
