First Diddy, then Common, now 50 Cent is jumping on the celebrity fragrance bandwagon. The hip-hop mogul will be partnering with one of the world's largest department stores, Macy's, to sell his exclusive new smell. People.com has confirmed that Fifty's first fragrance, Power, is set to launch by the end of Fall, 2009. Venturing into the business world is not new, nor unfamiliar for the 33-year old rapper. A few years back, Curtis sold a relatively unknown Glaceau Vitaminwater to soft-drink tycoon Coca-Cola for, what sources claim to be, over 100 million dollars. 50 Cent, who in addition to launching a new fragrance, is currently filming a new film entitled Twelve. When speaking about his new acting project, Fif said that "Twelve is one of the projects that I'm excited about. Acting allows me to explore different emotions. I can't remember the last time I was just crying randomly. I guess I've learned to suppress those emotions. You know, over time, in the environment I grew up in, it can be interpreted as you're weak." |
