In hopes of soothing Michael Jackson's fans with the news that things may be Better On The Other Side for the pop star, The Game has teamed up with Chris Brown, Diddy, and many others for a tribute song in his memory.
DJ Skee says Game's creativity was sparked when he told him of the pop icon's passing. Skee says Game immediately took to the recording studio and Dropped this Banger called "Better On The Other Side".
"After I called Game and told him the news, he put this tribute together and produced this amazing record," DJ Skee told fans via Twitter. "Yesterday I told Game about MJ's death and he didn't believe it."
Originally leaked on Friday (June 26), the song features Chris Brown, Diddy, Polow Da Don, Mario Winans, Usher, Boyz II Men, with production from DJ Khalil.
"Everybody bow they head, for a legend / Don't breathe for a second
/ Now, let the air out, grab the hand of somebody you care about, so
you can hear my message / My confessions. Somebody tell Usher, I seen him moonwalk / I guess the young Thriller touched em. Like he touched me, like he touched you, so carrying his legacy is something I must do," Game says over the track.
Although he failed to make his rumored appearance at the 2009 BET Awards last night, Chris Brown sings his emotions on the song's hook.
"This the type of song that make the angels cry / Look up in the sky
and I wonder why / Why you had to go, go? I know it's better on the
other side."
