Jay-Z Wants To Have Concert At "Gound Zero" Memeorial!
By Hip Hop News

Seems like releasing his eleventh studio album on the notable 9/11 date isn't enough for hip-hop mogul, Jay-Z. And apparently neither is the Apollo Theater or Radio Music City Hall.

According to Mediatakeout.com, the legendary rapper wants to hold a free concert for his fans on his September 11th album release date... at Ground Zero!

To hip-hop cohorts, having one of the acclaimed "greatest rapper alive" performing on the commemorative site will be as remarkable as when Three 6 Mafia took the stage at the 2006 Oscars. But internet sources believe the bizarre idea would result in anything but a celebrated moment. Radio personality Egypt blogged on her site that Jay's plan "sounds good in theory  but family members of those who were killed may not appreciate 5,000 hip-hoppers dancing on their memorial. Can you say PROTEST??!!"

Reports state that Jigga has yet to obtain permission from New York city officials but the prospects are seemingly positive.

Jay-Z is set to release Blueprint 3 on September 11, exactly eight years from the release of his first Blueprint album.

If Jay pulls this off then there will officially be no limits to what hip hop can accomplish.
