Lil Wayne set to Tour the States with Young Jeezy & Soulja Boy!
By Hip Hop News

Looks like Lil Wayne doesn't mind having too much on his plate. Not only does the Young Money Entertainment CEO have a baby and album on the way, he also has a rap tour in the works.

According to MTV News, sources say Weezy is planning a blockbuster summer tour with Young Jeezy, Drake, and Soulja Boy.

News of an impending tour leaked last week when Soulja Boy tweeted the announcement via his Twitter page on Thursday (June 4) while attending a Lakers game.

"TSA (Twitter Service Announcement) - I'm going on Tour with Lil Wayne, Young Jeezy & Drake this summer! Get ya tickets ASAP!!!!"

During a recent interview, Canadian rapper/singer Drake mentioned the possibility of a similar tour but named Hip-Hop giant, Jay-Z, as the fourth act.

"God willing, if everything goes according to plan and everybody's schedule is in place, then I will be on tour with some amazing people," Drake said. "One of them being Jay-Z, one of them being Lil Wayne, one of them being Young Jeezy and one of them being me."

Contrary to Drake's comments, the Blueprint star won't be participating in the upcoming tour. As previously reported by industryfinest, Jay-Z is set to embark on a solo tour this summer which kicks off July 3 in Las Vegas. The highly anticipated tour will also feature Ciara as the opening act.

Even without the Hip-Hop mogul, the tour is still expected to make history and what sources consider to be exactly what the game needs right now. With Lil Wayne's star power, Jeezy's street anthems, Drake's hype, and Soulja Boy's radio-friendly hits, a tour of this caliber will definitely fulfill these standards.

Dates and official lineup for the tour have yet to be confirmed by Wayne's camp.
