Police are reportedly on the hunt for Michael Jackson's doctor today (June 26) because of his possible role in the pop icon's death.

According to TMZ, police are looking for Dr. Conrad Robert Murray, the doctor who reportedly live with Michael in the mansion he was renting.

It is being said that Dr. Murray injected Michael with Demerol -- a prescribed pain reliever -- shortly before he died.

Many sources are now speculating that the shot is what caused Michael to go into cardiac arrest and subsequently meet his untimely demise.

Dr. Murray was reportedly on the scene trying to revive Michael until the paramedics arrived at his home yesterday (June 25).

Now wanted by police for questioning, Dr. Murray has gone missing.

Michael Jackson pronounced dead by doctors after arriving at the hospital in a deep coma yesterday.

An autopsy for the singer began this morning.
