Block Starz Music and D-Lo Entertainment have announced the release of Certified -- the official mixtape from southern Hip-Hop pioneer, Rasheeda to promote her upcoming fifth solo album, Certified Hot Chick. 

Certified is a new installment in Block Starz Music's popular mixtape series and will be available for download exclusively at www.blockstarzmusic.com free of charge.

Hosted by the UK's premier deejay and 2009 SEA Winner for Best Mixtape Host, DJ Ames, Certified is poised to be one of this year's best promotional releases.

"DJ Ames is a real deejay with a strong international following and has supported me for a long time now," says Rasheeda, who first hit the national music scene in 1995 as part of the teenage southern Hip-Hop trio, Da Kaperz. "My new Block Starz Music mixtape will be bananas! I'm heavy on my grind as a female in the game so watch out for Certified."

Rasheeda's new mixtape, Certified, will be available for download at www.blockstarzmusic.com on July 29, 2009.
