After weeks of speculation, sources have confirmed that Usher and his wife Tameka Foster are officially ending their almost two-year marriage. With rumors of infidelity swirling around the web and his mother refusing to attend the August 2007 marriage ceremony, the singer's union with Foster appeared to be doomed from the start.
On Thursday morning (June 11),reports WENN.com, divorce papers were filed in Atlanta Georgia. According to InTouch, Foster and Usher have been living separate lives for approximately 1 year. Recent reports have even suggested that Usher has been involved in an affair with a 40-something year old project manager.
The multi-platinum singers marriage woes come to no surprise for many. The couples turbulent relationship hit a rough patch a few months back when Foster suffered from a cardiac arrest after undergoing cosmetic surgery in Sao Paulo, Brazil. Friends close to the Confessions singer claimed that he was oblivious to the fact that Foster was to undergo any sort of plastic surgery. After hearing the news, Usher cancelled his performance at Clive Davis's pre-Grammy Gala and rushed to be by his soon-to-be ex-wife's side.
Although Usher and his camp have yet to release any official statement, a party close to the singer said that "Usher's primary concern is for his children. He is a great father and just wants to do what is right for them".
The 30 year-old singer has two sons with Tameka, Usher Raymond V and Naviyd Ely Raymond.

1. Usher is an ass%$&$ to the highest degree. I think it's funny that his mommy was so worried about her son being married to an older woman. It wasn't Tameka you needed to worry about Jonetta. You did all that worrying and it turns out that it was your son who took advantage. Good luck Tameka!! Considering all of the hell you"ve been through with that punk, I pray you get paid girl.

2. Please she should get what? She knew what she was getting herself into. Her old ass was in it for the money and that's it. She isn't SH*T herself for going against Ms. Patton in the first place.
